Run and walk for a better Colorado at the 2012 Colfax Marathon
The Colorado Center on Law and Policy is excited to be a Charity Partner for the 2012 Colfax Marathon, the ultimate URBAN tour!
This year's event has a beautiful course as well as a race for every skill level. If you are interested in a 26.2-mile Marathon, 13.1-mile Half Marathon, 26.2-mile 5-Person Marathon Relay, Urban 10 Miler or if you're a "Marathon Runner in training" and you want to run/walk the Colfax 5K (family friendly) -- this race is for you!

First time ever, for any marathon: epic run through Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, 7 miles of water and a run through Denver Fire Station #1.

When you register please choose the Colorado Center on Law and Policy as your Charity Partner. Last year, runners and walkers for CCLP helped collect gifts from 102 donors. Those gifts make a real difference for Coloradans in need, and we're aiming to do even better this year. When you sign up to participate, you'll get tools to help you raise money to benefit CCLP. We have a fundraising module that will let you very easily acquire sponsorships for your run through your own fundraising page.
So not only are you running for you, your fitness and goals, but your run will support our mission: advancing the health, economic security and wellbeing of low-income Coloradans through research, education, advocacy and litigation. In other words, you'll be making a difference for the most vulnerable people in our state.
