Jesus Loayza joined the Colorado Center on Law and Policy in June 2016 after graduating from Colorado College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He interned for Fundación enseñARTE in Cochabamba, Bolivia, a circus arts-based organization that helps keep at-risk children off the streets. Additionally, he worked at Pikes Peak United Way in Colorado Springs where he was involved in bolstering a local workforce-development program. Jesus also served as a research assistant for the Sociology Department at Colorado College. Jesus brings a background in data analysis and GIS, tools he believes can help highlight the issues that are preventing Coloradans from achieving full economic security.
