Angel joined the CCLP’s team in January, 2021. As Community & Development Manager, her role supports the Community & Development Director as well as the rest of the team with the goal of expanding the organization’s reach to improve the lives of Coloradans experiencing poverty.
She gained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Regis University and has a passion for reproductive justice, criminal justice reform and educational equity. Following her graduation in 2018 she went on to work for the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights and KIPP Colorado Schools. There she gained a variety of experience within the nonprofit realm from institutional funding and fundraising event planning to youth programming and advocacy. Born and raised in West Denver she is motivated by the great work that CCLP does to create systemic change in Colorado and is honored to be a part of it.
Angel is very excited to join a team of so many passionate and talented individuals and is looking forward to learning and growing within the organization.
