Communications Director [email protected] 303-573-5669 x311
Areas of expertise: Communications strategy, messaging and content development, digital storytelling, social media and media relations.

As CCLP’s Communications Director, Bob is charged with advancing CCLP’s vision and priorities through social and traditional media, editing and writing content for its website, publications and newsletters, along with coordinating and promoting special events and fundraising efforts.

His initiation into public policy began when he covered the Colorado General Assembly for the Denver Business Journal from 2007-2010. His interest in health policy led him to the Colorado Health Foundation, where he served as editorial manager — providing “the voice” of the Foundation’s various communications efforts — for nearly four years. His passion for making complex policy issues understandable for the general public has garnered awards from the Colorado Press Association, the Colorado Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and Colorado Healthcare Communicators.

Bob says he enjoys collaborating with CCLP’s energetic and talented staff and knowing that his work makes a difference to Coloradans facing poverty.
